Anita tries to think past the fear choking her, but Damian's terror is thick in her throat. She can distantly hear the phone ringing; it's ignored in order to try and bring Damian back to himself.

"Safe!" she practically screams, kneeling in front of the panicking vampire. Anita looks into the wide, unseeing eyes. "Damian, you're safe! Safe, for fuck's sake, you're safe!"
