Her feet move slowly as she walks through the lower areas of the Circus, heading towards Jean-Claude's room. She's hoping to catch him before he makes the rounds tonight, doing whatever it was he did when he wasn't dealing with her shit. Anita takes a deep breath when she reaches Jean-Claude's door and lets herself in. It shuts quietly behind her, and she leans against it, her eyes falling on Jean-Claude's half-clothed figure.

"I need to talk with you," she says softly, "and I can't do that when you're only half-dressed." Anita smiles. "I tend to get distracted."

He smiles back, and the tension leaves him in a rush. "I am glad to hear that. It was amazing for me as well. I have never fed from someone with whom I have shared marks before. The sensations were much more intense than I had expected."

Anita's fingers trace along Jean-Claude's chest, even over the cross-like scar.

"I love you too," she murmurs. "I'm sorry I kept that from us for so long."

"The anticipation made it all the sweeter," he replies as he drapes his arm around her.

"You're just being nice now."

Anita nuzzles his throat, closing her eyes.

"Do you have anywhere pressing to be?"

"Yes, I am," he admits with a smirk. "But it is true that I do not hold it against you. You had to come to the choice in your own time."

He looks briefly at the clock across the room. "And no, nowhere to be for a few hours."

"I did," she agrees. "And I'm glad I did."

Anita isn't usually this... cuddly post-sex, but after the feeding and with the marks so open, she feels a little more vulnerable than usual.

"Mind staying here while I take a nap?" she asks.

"There is nothing I would rather do," he replies honestly. He slips off the bed just long enough to pull the covers back and help Anita under them before joining her and snuggling close. "If you are not cold now," he explains, "you will be soon. It is normal after a feeding."

The cold was beginning to seep into her, though she'd been doing a good job of ignoring it. Anita curls into the curve of Jean-Claude's body, sighing softly, exhausted.

"Does Jason usually nap after a feeding?" she asks, her words already slurring with sleep.

"No, but then I usually don't take as much from him. Only enough to sustain me. With you, I admit I drank until I was full. The temptation was too great. I promise to be more careful in the future."
