Anita gets into the Jeep, eyes on Animator's, Inc., and she lets out a long breath. The conversations with Damian and Demeter have been swirling around in her head for a couple of days now, and she knows they're both right. She pulls her cellphone out of her jacket and dials Richard's number. It's well past six in the evening, and she crosses her fingers that Richard didn't have a date tonight as the phone rings.

Between her orgasm and her nails, he follows with his own orgasm. His hips meet hers one last time and stay there as he empties into her with a near howled growl against her throat, teeth almost breaking skin before he removes them so he won't. Amber eyes meet hers as he looks down at her, panting.

Staring up into those amber eyes, Anita feels nothing but complete trust with Richard. He may have eaten someone once, shown her his beast in the worst possible way, but she knows him.

Anita, breathless and shivering, cups Richard's face and brings their lips together for a soft kiss, such a vibrant difference between now and what they had been doing.

Richard gives a soft sound into the kiss, letting it stay soft. His love shown in the kiss and through their marks. The fact that she trusts him means a great deal to him.

His hips shift a little to pull out of her and settle most of his body next to her. One foot talented enough to kick up the blanket at the foot of the bed so he can pull it over them.

Anita snuggles against him, moaning at the wonderful ache that sort of sex leaves behind.

"I love you," she murmurs, content to stay where they are for the immediate future.

He settles comfortable on the bed and makes only one change. He wraps an arm around her waist and pulls her against him, nosing her hair. "Love you more."

There's soft laughter.

If Richard only knew that such a statement has, on more than one occasion, been uttered by Micah...

"Go to sleep," she teases, tucked safely against him. "If you're lucky and a good boy, we can go again before I leave."

There's curiosity through the marks at that, but the kind that says that he's not sure he wants to know and to not answer it.

Fingers trail along her side as he takes a deep breath, breathing in the scent of her and them and letting it relax and lull him closer to sleep. "I like that idea," he murmurs softly. The go again, not the good boy comment.

"I thought you might," she almost purrs against him. She likes their mingled scent, likes the heat and solid feel of him beside her. Anita won't let this go easily. She'd missed it too much before to let it slip away again.

She closes her eyes and listens to his heart beat, listens to his breathing, and lets it coax her to sleep.
